Baby Jogger City Select 2

The City Select 2 is a stroller that can grow with your family. You can start off with only one seat and bassinet for your newborn and when the time comes, the stroller transforms into a double stroller. This feature can be highly convenient for parents who plan a small gap in between kids.

Moreover, for a family with 3 kids there is the option to attach a glider board, making it super-versatile.

With the Baby Jogger City Select 2, parents can enjoy up to 14 configurations, to make sure that the pram adapts to their and their child’s needs.

This stroller can be used from birth and features a one-hand compact fold for busy parents.

The under-seat storage basket offers up to 7 kg storage, making it a convenient option to take to the shops and a compact 1 step fold.

Each sit in the City Select 2 has a capacity of 20.5kg and are exactly the same, making it convenient to carry twins or a toddler and a newborn baby.

The break in the Select 2 has been changed vs. the Select model to a  foot brake (with the previous model featuring a hand break)

Baby Jogger City Select Reviews

“Having 2 young children close in age and a 3rd coming any day I needed a pram that was practical and versatile. I love that I have the pram set up in many different configurations. I also love that it can easily convert between 1-2 seats and a scooter for the 3rd as well!”

“Great product, good for expanding families with the accessories and adjustments. My daughter is now two and still sits in the pram comfortably. Really satisfied with this purchase was on the higher end of price range but was worth it for the quality!”

Baby Jogger City Mini GT2 Stroller

This is the all-terrain version of Baby Jogger and a popular midsize option. Featuring 3 wheels and a compact size it is easy to manoeuvre and take it with you and your little to explore from smooth sidewalks to bumpy trails. The forever air rubber tyres with all-wheel suspension will make any change in your path’s conditions smooth for your little one, no matter the surface.

What parents love about this stroller is its versatility and ergonomic design. You are able to adjust the handlebar height to suit your needs and it has a hand break for added convenience.

When it comes down to baby comfort, the City Mini GT2 can accommodate from newborn to nearly 30 kgs! It has a newborn approved seat recline that is near flat, so you don’t need an added basinet for your baby to rest comfortably. The foot rest is also customisable to allow your growing child to be comfy.

As an added plus, the city GO infant car seat adaptors can be used to make your pram a travel system, and carry to and from your car undisturbed.

Baby Jogger City Mini GT2 Reviews

“I cannot express how happy I am with this pram. I live in an area that has many lovely walks and this pram is the bomb! as it is so easy to navigate in all conditions (rough footpaths, grass everywhere really!) great suspension with decent sized wheels.”

“I really like the break is a hand break so its easy to quickly turn it on. As well as the quick and easy one-handed fold. I am impressed by the hood that can come right down so making it every shady for a sleeping baby / child.”

“Such a great all-rounder – small enough for the everyday errands but big enough and stable enough to run with when my oldest rides his bike or scooter. Heaps of accessories available to suit your needs – definitely recommend this pram! We’ve had several baby jogger prams over the years and they are definitely the best prams on the market!”

Baby Jogger City Elite 2

If you are an outgoing parent that likes exploring and being active outdoors, this is the stroller is another great option for you. It is slightly larger than the Mini GT2, allowing for a maximum child weight of 34kg.

Like the City Mini GT2, it is all terrain and features 3 large forever-air filled wheels with suspension providing luxury and comfort in all terrain. There are many similarities between the 2 strollers, as they also share the easy one-hand fold system, the adjustable handlebar, the newborn-ready recline seat and large storage basket.

We could say that the Baby Jogger Elite is the next level up from the GT2, as it is slightly larger in size so the space to carry your child seems more comfortable and the overall design feels more premium. It is also slightly heavier, weighing 11.6kg, whereas the Mini GT2 weighs 10.1kg, which is something to consider.

Parents can explore with both strollers in many terrains but neither the GT2 nor the Elite 2 are suitable for jogging.

Baby Jogger City Elite 2 Reviews

“This pram handles well and can tackles rough terrains like sand and gravel with ease. My 3 year old and 5month old have both been comfy and slept on the go.”

“I purchased this pram new when my baby was born. We used it with a Maxi Cosi capsule for the first four months then moved him into the pram. From day one he loved it.

My son is now 4.5years old and still goes in his pram for long walks. Last week he even fell asleep in it. I would recommend this to any family with an active lifestyle. We purchased the travel bag and have taken it on several overseas holidays where it has been great. It packs down very easily for travel. Over the years we have also taken it off road, to the beach and walking our dogs to the park most days. It has never let us down and is still in great condition.”

Baby Jogger Summit X3

This is the stroller for parents that jog.

Like the City Mini GT, the Summit X3 features 3 wheels that will allow you to stroll our run with confidence. The all-wheel suspension and remote wheel lock on the handle bar will allow sporty parents shift between a swivel and straight wheel at ease, to make Baby Summit X3 all-terrain.

Unlike the Mini GT, the Jogger Summit X3 has air-filled rubber tyres, like bicycles do. The front wheel is 12’’ whereas the 2 back wheels are 16’’. The 3 rubber wheels combined with the all-wheel suspension system, offer a smooth ride to your tiny traveller. Moreover, when you lock in the front wheel to make it run straight, you will be able to enjoy a smooth run in any bumpy terrain, without the stroller bumping around.

For added safety and control, the Summit Baby Jogger features a hand-operated brake to slow down speed.

Like the previous models reviewed, the Summit X3 can be easily folded. Simply lift a strap with one hand and the stroller will fold itself, for added convenience.

Baby Jogger Summit X3 Reviews

“I really enjoy using it. Really easy to maneuver. Easy to fold and unfold. It can hold all of my kids at once. One is sitting on lap of the other one and the 3d on a board behind the pram! The only problem it’s heavy. So I have a spare pram in a car for the shops run.”

“I regularly take this pram on bush tracks for both running and walking, its all wheel suspension is amazing and handles any terrain you take it on. It is very easy to fold… pretty much one step and its done… quite lightweight but as has big wheels it does tend to take up a little more boot space than some other brands. It is very easy to maneuver and my favorite part is the front wheel locking mechanism is controlled within hands reach so you can flick it on and off without letting go of the handlebar. Adjusting the seat height is a little annoying but not terrible. The handlebar is not adjustable which is again annoying for a short person like me but really its okay once you get used to it. Sun cover is a 3 panel which is perfect length to ensure little one is shaded at all times. The overall length is quite short which is handy when trying to fit through gates etc… the build quality is great also, overall it is a very neat and tidy pram. Definitely recommend for all terrain running and walking pretty much a perfect all-rounder.”

Baby Jogger City Tour 2

The City Tour 2 pram will be your travel companion everywhere you go. Its lightweight and ultra-compact design make it suitable for everyday adventures, road trips and even flying with a baby as it fits most airlines carry-on requirements.

Like the previous strollers reviewed the Baby Jogger Tour features the one-hand signature easy fold and the newborn ready near-flat recline, to accommodate your child from birth.

The City Tour also features comes with a carry bag, that will make it look like one more piece of luggage. It is the lightest in the Baby Jogger range of strollers, weighing only 6.5kg and when folded it measures 59.5H x 49x5W x 19Dcm, so you can check with your airline if it fits in the overhead compartment with ease.

City Tour 2 is compatible with the City Go baby capsule, so this travel stroller can very well be a travel system stroller and accessories include the city tour 2 basinet, in case you want your baby to be more contained.

When it comes down to the limitations of this travel pram, the handlebar height is non-adjustable, like in the other Baby Jogger models, which may be a bit uncomfortable for tall parents. Also, the wheels are much smaller than the other options presented, but they have suspension. They are made of durable rubber composite and parents may choose to lock the front swivel wheels to have the option to easily maneuver the pram through bumpy terrain.

Baby Jogger City Tour 2 Reviews

“Purchased this for our overseas trip so we could use it up to the gate. Love that it fully reclines and has the footrest so our 19mo also slept in it well for his lunchtime sleeps. I always need two hands to put up the stroller. Annoyingly it doesn’t have a shoulder strap – yes it comes with a carry bag but it is not practical to put the stroller in a bag for a short distance, yet trying to juggle a toddler and the stroller is difficult if not almost impossible. Definitely worth getting the belly bar so child can sit up and lean on it”

“The pram is great! It’s a travel pram so need to be careful on disconnected terrain, but baby loves it and can sleep in it very easily as it goes almost flat. We also brought it with us on the plane and were able to use it right up to when we got into the cabin.”

Baby Jogger City Select LUX Stroller

Like the Select, the Lux stroller is a convertible stroller that goes from a single to a double stroller, so it also has the ability to grow with your family.

The Lux model offers 20+ riding configurations, as opposed to 14 on the Select model, so it is even more versatile (actually 25% more versatile than the City Select). The difference is in the ability to accommodate a single seat, in place of the second seat, so your child is closer to the floor to jump on and off the pram.

When folded, the City Select LUX is 30% smaller than the City Select. Folding this stroller is easy, thanks to its one-hand easy fold mechanism.

The LUX stroller features a hand break for easy decelerating and parking brake, at your fingertips, as well as a telescoping handlebar, to adjust to different parent heights.

The 4 all-terrain wheels feature suspension for added comfort to your tiny rider and parents have the option to lock the front swivel wheels for increased control when pushing the stroller on bumpy trails.
